Cooperation between media organizations of Azerbaijan and Ukraine discussed

There is constructive and effective cooperation between mass media of Azerbaijan and Ukraine. In recent years, the partnership between AZERTAC and Ukrinform has been developing further.

As AZERTAC reports, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev stated this during a meeting with Director General of Ukrinform Oleksandr Kharchenko.

Recalling that the peoples of Azerbaijan and Ukraine have centuries-old friendly relations, S. Mardaliyev noted that the mass media play a special role in the development of these relations.

"The institution headed by you constantly highlights the correct position of Azerbaijan. AZERTAC, in turn, informs the local and international community of events in Ukraine and reports on the war. The coverage of the truth about Azerbaijan in the Ukrainian mass media is one of the priority areas of our activity," the diplomat added.

In his turn, O.Kharchenko noted that there are sincere relations and effective cooperation between the mass media of both countries. "Ukrinform" is open to interesting projects and is ready to evaluate the proposed projects.

"We are very happy with the success of Azerbaijan, which is an important partner for Ukraine. I am confident that the cooperation between Ukrinform and AZERTAC will make a new contribution to the development of relations between our peoples and countries," O. Kharchenko emphasized.

Other issues of interest to the parties were discussed during the meeting as well.
